Went to my wife's work (School teacher )tonight with the kids to hunt for Spendables, and said the kids could have what I find, I decided to dig a few signals that were not spendies and out popped a 1933 half crown, weird thing about it is that the school was only established in 2000 and the area prior was just paddocks, looked on old maps and there was a small dwelling and what looks like neatly planted rows of shrubs back in 1940s
Also found a piece of leather strap with copper plate with a date of 1876 and a row of numbers 659 95..any thoughts ? Then yet another ring 925 and of course $8 for the kids piggy bank.
