Hi everyone, I went metal detecting at a park in Palmerston North last weekend and found this unknown hood/bonnet ornament.

Unknown V hood ornament

If you know what it is off or from please let me know in the comments section below. I also found some other cool finds like an old Texan Junior toy cap gun in excellent condition, a Soviet Union commemorative badge and more. Check out my video of the unknown hood ornament and the rest of my finds here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tdXYbJuHzIU

Happy Hunting!

Every "What is it?" should have something for scale - makes diagnosis a lot easier...

Thanks for the comments, I've now added measurements and a 20 cent piece to show scale :)

I'm starting to think its off a Victor Lawnmower, reel mower or even a old visper scooter
