8 Silver coins, great exhibition medallion of Christchurch, 3 fairly large silver things and I'm hoping someone can tell me what they are, found in the same hole and they have hallmarks, old lock, spendies and bunch of pennies.

What a great hunt Eric.
Intrigued by those 3 silver thingys.
At first I thought they were buttons but that back view discounted that.
Any chance of a better pic of the marks or just list what they are perhaps.

I'm leaning towards cufflinks for the silver thingies.

Good result for the 1st hunt of the year.

I think made by:

C.H into a chamfered rectangle
Charles Horner Ltd,

Here is a brooch in a similar style.

Wow, what a great start to the year. Any Charles Horner hallmarked silver is very collectible, and to get three in one hole is pretty epic.
He did everything from brooches through to silver thimbles. I think there may even be a website dedicated to collecting his silver.
Congrats also on the Exhibition medalette....a very sweet find.

Excellent start to the new year. Very exciting. I think there's a bit of ESP going on.
