I believe there used to be max dimensions for sluice boxes used in the doc public fossicking areas, is that stil the case and where can I find them?

nzpam website or paydirt locations section for public claim areas and I think the sluice size is 1m long x 200mm wide max

This is a interesting topic, the max sluice box size, is a doc thing, not a crown minerals thing, so if the area you are in does not stipulate a max size, I would not worry.

if all the public areas are run by doc that means those dimensions would apply to all sites wouldn't it.
