Withdrawn, I'll strip the batteries out and put it in a box for another 30 years.
Be a vintage collectible then :)

No smoke or mirrors here... It's ugly. Heavy. And very old.
Garrett Sea Hunter MK1 31 years old, purchased from Steelcon Electronics in Whangarei.
6" and 4" coils (yeah, takes forever to sweep an area!)
Original waterproof phones
Battery pack replaced (DIY) 5 years ago with NiCds - can't remember mAh, but they were the heaviest I could find at RS)
Remodded for hip mount with belt
No charger, but jam 12v 200mA into the charging socket and it's fine (Same as Excalibur charging plug - not included)
Seals last changed and certified around 1990, since opened for battery pack replacement, not retested.
Case has been drilled when I was running external battery pack, but holes keyed and resealed with epoxy.
Recommend thorough testing before immersion above IP7 rating (Splashproof)
Airtest 15/12/14:
Mens 9ct Gold ring: 3" (max)
Mens 925 ring: 6" (max)
This is very old technology - offered up for someone who wants a project or feels they can make use of it.
If you want to empty the beaches of every hairclip, fish hook and rusty nail - there are definitely better machines out there these days.
Strictly As Is. But it performs as per airtest above.
Selling purely as never used since I got the Excal. Doesn't sell, it'll go in a box upstairs for posterity with the other antiques.
If there's interest, I'll take some pics.
(Probably not suited for what you're looking for Creamer)
