Fair few silvers this week, silver ring, Raf badge, Junior red cross badge, boys brigade, pocket watch..and found Jesus.
Getting difficult to finds spots in summer, grounds hard and dry also don't want to be digging the nice parks.

Was from various locations and not shown is the multitude of penny's, I tried the Avon river edge around Oxford terrace and was quite surprised

i've been trying to find a crucifix for years!
your silvers are gorgeous,
half-crown hidden behind the small fry?
not too sure how many silver h-crowns you're finding?
but they'd be front-page up here.

Great stuff ma'man. You're really kickin ass and takin names with your superb finds lately. That little RAF badge is very similar to one I dug a couple of months back. I reckon it's WW1 issue...... Well done.

cheers, yes that badge was found along the Avon. And my 5th half crown which is cool..like I said various locations

5th half crown within 3 months, I'm sure west Auckland would have a fair few, I was raised in Oratia, In the Waitakere ranges and remember walking though the bush and finding old band saws half stuck in kauri logs, and milling machinery as a kid..have you tried the cascades ?
