Found this today and not sure what it is, bigger than a half penny and smaller than a penny. This looks like the head, other side cant see anything yet

Think ive solved it George 3rd penny and guessing 1806ish

Top old find there Erickd.
One way to id a coin is with a micrometer.
Measure it's width ie 26mm, then google the size.
I have found this a useful technique and more than often found the coin.
