Don't know how to do the link thing. As it turns out my Farther has bought it! He must have really enjoyed his first hunt a few weeks back. The pointer wasn't a Garrett it was a Fisher F Point, the F2 wont be as good as the F4 but I am sure he will get some good stuff with it all the same and kill a bit of time.

Sorry I didn't post this the other day just been a bit flat out, good luck with your F4

Hi Everyone,

Please note that DetectNZ is now an authorised NZ agent for Coiltek coils for Minelab detectors.

You can see the range of coils we intend to stock initially on this link.
http://www.detectnz.co.n...r+Minelab+detectors.html

I have been concerned for a while that DetectNZ was not able to offer waterproof coils for the current Minelab range
where Minelab did not supply them as standard. This Coiltek agency attends to that nicely and as many of you will know
Coiltek has a great reputation for quality product that performs well in NZ and Australian conditions.

I look forward to all enquiries.

Kind regards,
Chris Goodson

Hi All,

I have more of the CTX 3030 with the extra 17" coil promotion available now.
This promo saves you around $600 so is really worthwhile I reckon.
Stock is limited so first in first served, early bird gets the worm etc.

Check out the website in the Treasure detectors section.
All inquiries welcome. www.detectnz.co.nz

Hi there MK.
Got a call from a client who said he brought a Minelab GTX 5000 which he ordered from China. He said he payed just under a grand for it and it looked exactly like one should. I told him it's bound to be one of those knock offs. He replied, well they have gone thru a lot of trouble to make it look like the real deal. Guess i'll go and have a look. I wouldn't know the difference anyway but there must be some way of telling.

Illusionists are always around.
Two sayings come to mind - " if it seems to good to be true" and "ya gets what ya pays for".
