The two rows on the right were literally all stacked together in two piles. Having given it some thought I can’t quite figure how they got there. Sometimes you find a few coins near each other and I figure someone picked up their pants or dropped their purse; but why would coins get stacked together under ground? Anyway, it was a fun days digging.

Looks like you had a great day.

well i found an interesting coin/medal? today..i know it is a 100 year comemrative thing but not sure if it is a coin or metal...on one side it says....The arrival at
Lyttelton 1850....and on the other side it says....Canterbury new zealand Centenary then in a little circle...1850/1950

the reason i say im not sure if coin or metadl it has a little hole in the top of it but i dont know if it was made like that or if someone drilled it them selfs.

Sorry the picture isnt that clear but i have a crap camera at the moment as my good one isnt working..will edit and repost pic once i have a good one.
