Thought I better put up a few photo's of my recent finds. Been going over to the coast in the fossicking areas. Managed to do ok for myself. My biggest piece is a 6.5g nugget. The rest is 12.5g of pickers and fines.

Pretty much. Only been to 3 of the public fossicking areas...

Plenty of luck, and some great advice from some helpful locals. The big nugget was pretty much on the surface, maybe an inch or so down. Found it while sluicing.

I would echo Overdog's comment. That's a fantastic result and I am sure it reflects the effort put in.

Nice one! That 6.5g nugget is a great find, they don't come along often that size! Some of the public fossicking areas can stlil hold good gold, I go 24g out of one in a day and a half. When I went back there a mate and I got another 27g in 2 days. And that was right next tot he road! In this case a certain washout from a flood had helped us a lot though.

As I said nice work!
And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!
