Very interesting video thanks. Especially liked the crystalline gold from Devon.
Noted in the last mine shown that it took 60 tonnes of rock to extract enough GOLD to make one quality GOLD ring.

The gold "ferns" from Devon got my interest as well. Sedimentary rock like the Devon location is not the type of geology you would normally associate with gold - and here I live in an area of sedimentary limestone and other rock types which also has some geothermal activity (hot springs). Maybe just maybe........ :)

One GOLD ring per 60 tonnes doesn't sound right. Might have have been 6.8 grammes per tonne, enough to make one. Something like that.

Was 6.8g per tonne of gold bearing material. But was 60 tonnes of overburden per tonne of gold bearing material, hence for every 6.8g of gold, they had to move 60 tonnes of dirt.
