I am taking my boys for the first time over to Goldsborough.

Its my first time as well as the boys.
Been wanting to do it for along time. Just hope we can find some colour.
We will try and hang in as long as the weather permits or as long as the kids can handle it.

I too have been hoping for some better weather forecast as my plan is to do some sluicing at Goldsborough... so yeah, not looking good. I may pop over the hill for a quick look if the weather is half pie good, otherwise ANZAC weekend... again hopefully, weather permitting.

If I end up over there it will be to dig a bit further up the creek. I started another dig last month and was getting not bad color it's patchy though, I got the feeling that I was digging someone else's tailings on one side of the hole and good dirt on the other.

At the moment I think I will can the Easter trip, the creek is likely running high and the forecast for lots of rain. I'm sure we will see each other over there at some stage and have a bit of a yarn. Have a good one nafcd.

spur of the moment decision was a trip to Goldsborough today. not much gold but always a good day out. shamrock was clear and campground surprisingly busy considering the forecast. might not stay like that if the weather packs in as predicted.
