Once told and shown to me by an old time miner in aussy.
Back in the day the chinese miners held panning comps. They were so efficient they could do a full pan in 21 seconds.
It took 11 seconds to get down to the smalls then another 10 to seperate.
There was no secrete to it they would just go really fast.

how long do u take to do a pan. a minute or two for me but the old guy that showed me took 5 mins. have wondered if I do it too quick but 21 secs for a pan. doesn't look like I am.

Hi all .. What a great day I had.. I WON one of the panning championships and met some of the gang from pay dirt. LepreSean, gingerbreadman, And some more. what a great day
So thanks to all who turn up and we Had a great talk about gold,& stuff
