hi all,crap tides this week so decided to do a creek estuary,well pleased to see how in good nick the coins are coming from deep in the mud,heres the best ones also scored two 9ct rings one i think is a oldie good hunting.

Nice work Roy. Those pennies have been well preserved, I guess due to the lack of oxygen in the mud.
Congrats on the two goldies....very nice. Were they also out of the estuary?

hi, mud is hard work but its got its attractions the deeper you go the thicker and stickier it gets but it forms a barrier i am sure the heavy stuff cant go down any further must sit there for ever.the sinkers are deeper than the coins,i use a heavy duty scoop but sometimes its hard to clear i have to scrape the stuff out mine has big escape holes in it there big enough to let threepences through unfortunately.
