Hi guys, Had a bit of a scratch around with the detector over Waitangi weekend amongst some dry gully workings way up on a mountain side in Central Otago.

Was pretty hard going. Hot....dry & heaps of flys & a bit of small gold.

The last piece before dark on the last day before packing it in doubled my take being a 3.5 gram slug of sassy gold.

You would have to be happy with that ! I like the largest piece - shaped a bit like a decorative fish hook. Glad to see you are still getting some, good on ya - NUGGY

Well done with that lot. Ive got one more morning of digging here up past Westport and what id give to get those rolling round in my pan!
