Now when you guys say cancel mode, I have custom mode where i can take out any unwanted signals or stop them from beeping. I guess thats wot you mean.
My friend is closer to Motueka. And they know of someone who goes detecting along the rivers in the gravel banks/sides and does quite well, or really well, not sure. Waiting on more info as they have only just moved there. Cool post GPX. Nice to hear from you.
Ah yes, now i know wot that continuous beep/noise was all along a recent beach. Must have been a power line maybe. hmmm

Hi there Ytb8taz. Thankyou very much for your offer. You have all got me buzzin with antisipation now. Gold gold gold. Sounds like a big get together coming up. I may have to fly down so dont know if the sluice box will make it down. So much cheaper to fly down and i dont lose 3-4 days travelling. But would be nice in the van or bros 4wd. But, i know someone down there now and can get a car. All good.

hi
talking of sand flies one landed at the airstrip the other day they pump 40gaql of avgas in before they realised it was a sandfly

got a spare slice box you can borrow

found an old house site today dont know how good it would be for detecting as there was lots of pots etc laying round

went to the claim yesterday the river was a little high so had the trailer hanging out the back sideways crossing thank goodness for snorkels
only got about a gram as i was working over burdon didnt hit bed rock till 1/2 hour before knock off seems a good meter of over burdon so its slow work

sitting round the camp fire the other night when i heard two mosies up the tree talking to each other the big one said "pop down there and grabe one of those guys sitting round the fire and fly thwm back up here so we can have a feed"

if you have a snockel you will be fine crossing the river
i have spent time throwing rocks into the ruts so i had no trouble getting out even with the trailer

river is moving away from the bank so hopefully this summer may be more productive

doc is changing the hut into a shelter even though there seems nothing wrong with it caz and i painted it inside and out last year on put some furniture in it

home away from home a nice day sunday
