I am looking for a Garrett Metal Detector. I don't mind if it is second hand, but it must be in good condition and in working order. I am new to this hobby so looking for a good entry level model. I have limited NZD funds, but I am wiling to pay more via Bartercard dollars if it suits the seller. If interested please send me a message :)

I'm curious why you are specifically after a Garrett, don't get me wrong they are great machines but for around $350 you can get an equally good quality machine with more features brand spankers! That is if you are after something in the Garrett ACE family (150/250).

Yes the Garrett Ace 250 is a great machine for getting started. Best and cheapest way (for a new one) is direct from the Garrett website in the states. Will take 14 days for delivery but well worth the wait and you get all the extras with it as well.

dont waste your time getting a Garrett Ace as they are like kids detectors lol horrible bing bong noises, and no numbers for target id, go straight to a AT pro you wont regret it.
