I have this old sheep footrot trough and thinking if I cut it in half and used half as a sluice ,and the other half as a feeder with expanded mesh in the bottom. The top of the trough measures 2500x300 and the floor is 1800x220. The floor is dimpled but the dimples protrued upwards which I guess is not ideal. I know there are some pretty handy guys on this forum so I thought id ask before hacking it up, one of them I bought a sluice off a couple of weeks ago. I am dealing with some very fine flour gold with alot of clay. Photo 3 is underside. Thanks for any suggestions Brett.
