Nothing too flash but hey. Few coins couple of buttons, key and cool plane necklace that's lost half a wing.

Just spotted I have posted this as a new topic, I meant to put under Iggys Finds,(now the new topic is here I thought I might as well show a few of the better stuff that my boys, family and Freinds have found) will get it right next time. I am still having a bit of trouble getting the pics. to show up in the posts, which I think is better than having to download each pic to view. I have just set up Photobucket but don't seem to be able to get it happening.
Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks Iggy

Gidday Iggy, nice group of finds yet again.
Getting the pic's to appear on your post is easy. Just go into settings on your camera, find the "resolution" setting and decrease the size of the pixel resolution.
I use 640 x 480 as my standard photo size. Give that a try and hoopefully...........problem solved!

Once again, your a book of knowledge. Thanks #8 I will give that a try next time with fingers crossed. My boy has some nice finds from the other nights dig. As soon as I can get him inspired to clean them up a bit I will try with the lower pixels.

Hey, no problem dude. Wish I could get my boy into detecting. He's just not interested.....thinks it's geeky. I guess that's fairly understandable considering he's in his early teens. Playstation is king right now.......I guess girls will be next!

Ha Ha, I know exactly what you are saying, my youngest thinks people will think he is a scavenger, but he is also drawn to those $1&2 coins.

The way that works for me is to edit the pictures before uploading them to Photobucket. I use Microsoft office Picture manager but I assume all are similar. Go to edit pictures, resize settings. In custom width and height, make the longest side 600 or less.

Anything more than this doesn't seem to allow the picture to display in the text. This way you don't need to change the camera settings and you only need to resize the photos you want to upload to Photobucket.

Iggys Father had his first hunt, I dug for him. He went home quite happy thinking this metal detecting thing wasn't too bad.
