I have been going to the beach after work to try and catch the super low tides, the funny thing is most of what I found came from the mid tide and dry sand area's.Also I have been trying a new technique,as I usually just meander down the beach in a dog leg manner,I decided to try just pegging of a random area, and worked it slowly digging anything that was not ferrous,(there is a lot of that here as a result of the Rena's containers coming ashore).Anyway I ended the week with the two wee 9kt gold rings, and a nice mens silver ring and silver chain.Plus a bit of spending $,the odd find is the Hawian Hilo dollar, not sure if it is there currency or just a touristy gimmick.

Good job, I love that big Hawian coin. All I have found at the beach is seaweed and shells, but there is always tomorrow.
