hi, i'm looking to buy some decent dredge hose, both 4 and 6 inch. the stuff that's smooth on the inside preferably. new or 2nd hand. as long as it's a good price.

still after a water pump too.

pu ducting is alright and cheap as if working in slower water, will only last 1 good summer or a couple of lazy summer, thin but very flexible and easy as to clear blockages.

blackwoods paykels can get you almost anything, the guy at the Frankton depo understands that us poor miners always need a good deal ;)

Hey again

I once used unperforated nova flo for a 4" dredge and it worked fine, at $5 per metre it was pretty cost effective, is you have a suction nozzle type dredge then this should also work for 6", I believe you can get nova flo in 6" size as well. It is ribbed, but in a gentle way.

yeah, i have some of that really bendy stuff. ok in a calm bit of river but a pain in any sort of flow as too bendy.

i do have some novaflo without holes. really want something that is smooth on the inside. got the good stuff from backwoods for my little 2.5 inch dredge. the white/clear hose with smooth inside. you get what you pay for with hoses i guess.

if the thin stuff no good for you then youll probly just have to stop being a jew and fork out the $$$$ for some descent stuff. in 6" you need a descent length to get some flex minimum 5m

Hi Simon,Ive got a 5 metre length of quality 4" dredge hose,used. Its Goodyear nutriflex, smooth bore , clear and stiff enough to stand up in a current. Im over in Wanaka so close if you want a look.PM me if your interested.

i have got used good condition high pressure nylon twin ply 50mm lay flat rating 900 psi in various lengths up to 30 meters without cup links if anyone is interested can send a cut off sample..... 0226127567 $9 per m

i think hes after 4 inch(100mm) and 6 inch(150mm)i might be interested in some 50mm hose, pm me were in westland you are
