Around 90 percent and up. Of course it depends on if you have quartz in the nuggets. X-terra steve once told me that wakamarina gold assays around 93 to 97 percent pure
And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!

the gold i get is usually around otago 93-94 i was told by the gold buyer how quick the purity can change he reckond in the nevis on 1 side was about 96% but on the other side was a lot less

It differs from place to place. One of the gold buyers once told me that Otago and West Coast gold averaged out at 95 percent. I know someone who sold gold and did indeed get 95% of the spot price without assay so I guess that seems likely.
