the other day I pushed my power jet unit to far up the flange when I went to dis assemble the jet unit wouldn't come out. bugger
a few words to a good friend of mine young Daniel and I had the problem solved

if one pushes up to far (keep to the subject of gold here ) it causes a vortex in the flare which in turn will suck the sands back down into the area between the flare and the powerjet. the sand then acts as a locking up device
solution: heat up the plastic flare with a heat gun not so much as to melt the plastic ram a wet cold towel up the powerjet to keep the metal cool .
the flare will expand and soften and with a lot of twisting and pulling the units will separate.

thanks Daniel for your help
