Hey guys went out for a little hunt in the rain this morning and got the faintest signal so dug and dug and dug and at about 10 - 12 inches down I dug this coin out. I think it may be some kind of trade token or something but I don't know, I spent ages cleaning it up.. the front has a lady sitting down and can only make out 'and' above her head and slightly to the right. The back is destroyed but it does have a really clear '1880' around the edge (you can't see on photo but easy to see in person) as well as some tiny ornate design you can just make out.

The coin is huge too, way bigger than a penny and slightly bigger than a half crown when you lay them on top of each other.

Any help would be great.

Coin front

Coin Back

Bigger than a penny

Bigger than a half crown

Cool find. Looks like a token.
If it was me I would be soaking it in white vinegar for a while to see if any more letters would appear.
More old silver too.
Well done.

Hey MK, no silver today this was the HC I already had, just used it as size comparison. I found this by tui glen reserve, but on the other side of the creek behind west wave and the bowling club, I think the ground used to be orchards but now it's a reserve. Everything there was DEEP though I think I missed tons, even found a couple of fired musket balls.

Thought going out in the rain would be great, turns out only the top centimeter of ground was moist, the rest like concrete.

Cool find Djevel. A lot of trade tokens found are around 1850-1860ish. Real buzz to find.
