Gidday everyone
It has beensome months since I have made any effort to get reacquanted with my favourite forum. I have to admit that my get up and go got up and went.

I had the pleasure of revisiting Murchison after Christmas, to take my mother-in law back home and for the kids to stay a few days and hopefully a chance for me to get down to my spots. Yes it was the day of the big rains. We got into Murch as they were closing the roads in all directions. Once you were in town you weren't going anywhere.
Needless to say, no gold hunting though we did get to watch whitewater kayakers do their thing once the water started dropping. That was the last time i have been there. Was supposed to go over again at Easter but darling wife went to Aussie to check up on her ailing sister, they had a spat, wife had to stay in a hotel until her flight home, so couldn't afford to fuel a V6 car for the trip. Woe is me.

Then, I thought I was going to get posted to Auckland. Bloooody hell. Plotting against me. You all are, I know it.

Anyway. All sorted now. I have been revitalised by reading all of the great posts on here. Man the membership has grown hasn't it? So anyone in Blenheim want to meet up for a scratch somewhere, for gold that is, let me know. My home email is [email protected].

Hi Dave and others. I've been hibernating myself a bit over the winter, but am planning to do another fossicking trip this coming summer.... this time for the whole summer, and all the way down into Queenstown. Planning to combine sniping with detecting. Want to buy a top quality detector for the mission, so near all proceeds of kiwifruit winter pruning will be going towards it. Will be posting more often come the summer.
