someones claim with their permission!!

I don't know why muppets buy dredges if they don't have a claim or regular access/permission to someone elses claim. pretty stupid really

Kaniere River downstream of Kaniere Forks. It is big enough to run such a dredge and I don't think anyone has a claim on it.

Ahaura River, Grey Valley, check at the pub about claims but. Arnold River, near Stillwater, again check at the pub about any claims there. Mouth of the Serpentine Creek, Kaniere Junction, as far as I know there are no claims there. Get a bit of silver ore there too. Tin further upstream but it's private property, ask the owner.

The upper reaches of the Hurinui River, Cant. has some fine gold in it. Difficult to get to but.
