Been going there for years. Good toilets (flush) and drinking water. During the summer the facilities are serviced every day.
See my post in show and tell

Still plenty of gold there!

The Wekas on the Waka are pretty cheeky too. One of my trusty crocks [essential for camper living] was carted off for quite a few metres. Luckily, I managed to retrieve it.... only to have my sister's dog, at a later date, steal another one. Never found it that time. :(

Plan to be in Goldsborough, at some point in early summer..... with crocks glued to feet. :)

Hi Steve. Things are pretty good.... am fishing for the week in the Bay of Plenty. Will be picking up some more orchard work soon to get some funds for a decent detetector [don't want to sell my gold :)]. Any ideas on a good 'un. Maybe an xterra or something. Not sure whether I should buy new or second-hand... the expense isn't too much of an issue.

That sluice box was left high and dry on the Waka [near Deep Creek]... was too bloody big and heavy to cart around NZ in my little camper.... and am sure it'll be there to use for the next season.
