Daniel of Goldrush Tours & Supplies is a friendly guy who stocks various models. If you just want to buy one he'll be able to sort you out...

I think he's probably got more options available than in the links above so worth giving him a shout to see what he's got.

Ive got a Keene A51 from Daniel and it straps nicely to the outside of me pack. You might have seen it when we were up at marble hill.
Not to heavy and seems to catch a good amount of fine gold as well as the bigger stuff. Fully recommend it. My mate just bout the ezy sluice that Daniel sells as well. All plastic except for mouth and super light. Not sure how good it works tho as rivers were all up when we went to try it.

Make your own mate, forget about the old style Keene sluices they are good but way outdated now, a have a modified a52 and I take it everywhere in my pack 40k up in the hills, you need to get rid of the miners mats and purchase the new gold recovery rubber mats, http://www.goldhog.com, get rid of the riffles you don't need them either. And don't waste your time with classifying dirt just dump it through as fast as you can.

Making your own would be sweet if you have the right material (street signs are good)and tools. buying one is easy and you know its going to recover a good amount of gold ,no guess work. If you don't classify you will lose a lot of gold but it is quicker. When all the big rocks sit in your sluice gold will go behind them and when you take them out all that gold will carry on.

I dont think that is good information at all. You must lose a lot of gold if that is how you operate. Or are you just waiting until he goes so you can go back & work his tailings....LOL :)

Gavzilla is right in regards to the razorback scrubber matting from gold hog, you don't need riffles or miners moss. Their UR (under riffle) mats need the riffles tho (raised expanded mesh). A video of gold hogs is on you tube that shows how good their mats are.

here's the link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kSbx3I_OrMA

I've posted this before somewhere on this forum and as stated previously it is a long clip.

Hope this clears up what gavzilla was meaning. :)
