hi to all in nz,no work today tides just right decided to have a dig today got three quarters of a gold ring with stone in it a silver ring and a stainless steel 316 L whatever that means ring which i quite like. good luck to all.

hi creamer,found all the rings at the beach i think some rings get brittle after time and extracting them is not easy there mixed in with rocks its easy to hit them while trying to get them out.cheers.

I have a ring almost identical to the broken gold which dates back to the early 60's but suspect it's a common design.

The 316 is the grade of stainless (marine grade from memory) and I'm guessing size Large?

Good results there.

Yep. 308 grade is the cheaper one that BBQ's are made from. :^)
