hi there. Diggers creek- 13km towards murch from springs is maruia westbank rd on ya left. 50m further on across rd go through farm gate [legal access] drive up hill through next gate into bush. follow road. cross1 small creek ford carry on crossing concrete ford [station creek] next creek is diggers creek. park on right just before creek.happy digging.ya dont have to look far to find colour. another good spot is before concrete ford take track on left for 150 m to station creek and on down streem side at crossing crlean out cracks in bedrock.they trap the odd good bit. good luck. and remember ya sand fly spray.

hey dude how did you get on at diggers creek did you find good color and was it hard to find the access to it just reading the directions and is it at a cross roads or is it on across road and is it on the left or right side of road sorry bout all the questions just been looking at google maps and cant quite work out were thinking of heading that way show weekend cheers

hi. diggers creek runs across the access rd. it is the 3rd creek you drive through. after leaving main rd follow gravel rd to 3rd ford and thats it. the 150m of creek from the ford to where it meets station creek has plenty of colour in it. plenty of deer round there to if your a hunter.

Hi ytb8ta

Looks like a good spot to take the pan and the gun for a walk is it doc land through there or private where does the rd go to any info would be great don't want to stand on anybody's toes thanks.

hi cavey, is doc land. first few hundred metres is leased to farmer but is public access through it.just shut gates. rd goes through to back of lake Daniels.need a serious 4x4 to get that far but.plenty of red deer, a few fellow deer between farm and concrete ford and a few good pigs aswell.along with gold its a great spot to roam.
