we missed most of the rain down here but i see the nelson region got hammered.

Who's heading out up there after the waters recede? i bet there's a fair bit of material moved about.

Getting a bit colder out now but if i was up there i'd be hard at it. keen to see some pics. (of flood damage and gold of course!

Who would have thought something so good could come from all that rain...Flooding near Canvastown and the Pelorus Bridge has blocked the highway from Nelson to Picton...I dont think any gold would be moving down the Waka, wouldn't even be worth the hour trip there, anyways its getting to cold.....

Yet another flood up the Wakas (Hope the dredge is ok???)Looking forward to a long weekend up the
river over Queens Birthday.My claim partners and I have just purchased new breathing gear arrives
tommorrow .Gets 4 divers to 45 feet or 2 divers 90 feet. Flood gold awsome stuff !!!!
