Looks like the end of a bore drill. U know, for drilling bore holes in the ground for core samples etc. The hexagaonal end would fit onto the drill and the end with the bumpy bits is the cutter.
Thats what it looks like to me. Does that fit with where you found it?

The colour looks Hitachi orange, so it could be off a digger? Don't think I have anything like that on my Hitachi digger though lol. NUGGY

Not a bit of drilling kit I've ever seen (Done a few kilometres of hole over the years)

The hex bore implies it doesn't want to rotate on whatever it sleeves, and I'd guess there's a hefty retaining bolt goes through the side hole into the shaft that it sits over.

Best guess would be a sacrificial sleeve/bearing surface out of a knuckle joint, but doubtful it'd be a digger.

The serrated ends look to be cause by wear due to a (probably undesirable) side to side action on whatever was sitting over it, was probably a straight cylinder when new.

It looks like a well-worn pin socket for the front idler of a bulldozer. It fits onto the shaft and is locked in place by a large pin. Two angled roller bearings are pressed onto the outer edges. And the front idler is fitted to them.

Just an educated guess!
