Reluctantly I'm selling my GoldQuest detector.

Model GoldQuest SS v.2 by PulsePower developments
Serial number: 040255145 (box and coil the same numbers)
This has the original 11" coil.

These machines rank among the best P.I's in the world, super stable and great depth. If you google you will find most are full of praise for these machines. Ive done a few trips nugget hunting and a few excursions to the beach.
Probably only a dozen fresh battery changes in total. Good condition, I've put up some photos. The scratches on bottom of coil are minor, no significant scrapes. The only flaw is perhaps that the black plastic battery box is a bit "stretched" but they batteries (8x AA) have always remained secure. You can get new cell boxes easily enough.
I last used this 3 weeks ago.

Reason for selling: I have 3 detectors including another PI by Eric Foster ,I need the cash to fix my van. Summer is here, I want to head south for some sorties into the South Island hills in January.
I think $900 is a fair price.
In only want to send to a NZ address.

Update : 23/10/2013 detector sold. Thanks LD! and thank you Paydirt

Now that's a detector I had never heard of before. Did you have any luck with it? What sort of depth did u achieve with it?

Hi, Well Eric Foster is famous for pioneering P.I detectors, I understand Whites recently bought him out. These were made in the UK, Aquastar is the water resistant version of this. The Deepstar is another of his P.I 's I have. Depth , well in wet sand this machine works best, it is primarily for gold. You can find claims about it's depth on the net, personally 10 inches depth easily in wet sand. Great for pull tabs. I found a gold nugget down south 5gm or so..but that was not deep. Probably the same in dry but I can't say for sure. They are excellent. I know of one other guy in NZ who has one..here are a couple of links that might answer that better..

I'm hoping to use a Deepstar this summer, its never been used, the NiMh pack is stuffed after a few years sitting I think.
