yer I never get rings, cant believe it.2 are gold and 2 silver. The others are junk. its a sterling silver pendent and I don't know what the nugget thing is im guessing it aluminium because its light as. any ideas?

Congrats! what carat are the golds?

the nugget thing is most likely aluminium. Used to find a lot on the beaches where somebody has had a bon fire and thrown in their beer cans which melt into nice clean sounding nuggets of junk.....

yer stoked I was hunting a rugby field so I was surprised to find so many rings. The field opened in 1912, there should be some more silver somewhere.

That little bit of a 1 sounds promising - should be 14k or 18k (we rarely get the US 10k here). Might be worth getting it tested if you know of a friendly jeweler.

I take it that the scores were from digging targets under the 64 VDI ?

Ive done just under half of the actual rugby field and I dug every thing that was a clear target. yep they were all in the 40s 50s and 60s.i dug a lot of pull tabs and aluminium shrapnel but I said to myself just go hard and dig it all and it fully payed off. I would of spent about 6 hours clearing half of the field but worth it. thanks for the advise shilo.i went back to the beach again but still couldn't get the GB on the wet sand. I could kind of get it but the second I moved it would change again. Dry sand was ok.

The at pro was easy to use after using the ace350 .the AT pro zero mode makes it a lot easier to hear a good target in trashy areas and tell the difference between a bottle cap and a coin no problem. The ace 350 raped 90./. of coins from a park I hammered .there wasn't much left for my AT pro but I do still find some I have missed in the really trashy areas. If it was a coin by itself the ace 350 got it pretty much but I did miss 3 half sovereigns with the ace350.i think I must of just ignored the signals and didn't dig them...I don't know.

I've never heard of that before sorry, but I have found golf tees . I marked them on my map, going there again when the grass is a bit shorter to get my full sovereign I hope.
