Well guys it's a grey day.

Chinese copies of the Pro-Pointer are now available and they aren't so flash.

Garrett is also tightening up on there resellers to stop International shipping (Oct 1st was the cut off date I believe).

So I guess it's time to find a good freight forwarding company.

Here is the link about the fake Pro-Pointers . Fake Pro Pointers

That kinda sucks.

If they're going to stop shipping international, I guess I'm saving for a ProFind instead?

Or, taking a trip to the states and taking orders!

This will be my new address for getting stuff from Garrett like the ATX that I'm dreaming off!: http://www.nzpost.co.nz/tools/youshop

Nothing new, Minelab have had the same policy for years and I think Fisher / Teknetiks also have it? Then again both Minelab and Fisher have dealers who charge an acceptable price & they are also forum members, unlike the main NZ Garrett dealer who charges an unrealistic high price and has nothing to do with the hobby.

Yup, but I just had a look at their website and it looks like they have dropped their prices recently. Propointer is now $229 which is over $100 less then when I last say it advertised on their site.
