Hi everyone.

I'm new to metal detecting. Have been out for the last two nights. I'm having a lot of fun with this hobby and hope to find some really good stuff soon. Here's what I've found so far

Well done, I like the look of the large medallion. Is it a religious pendant? Silver? Off to a good start I'd say. Good luck NUGGY

Hi all.

I don't think its silver, who knows and from what i can read from the back of the medallion its some kind of award.
The coins are 2 half pennies, penny and the weird medallion.

I broke my digging tool today, it had been highly modified i think these mods where the reason!!!

Happy digging!!! : )

Ouch! that tool doesn't look good for the ware... lol... I had one of those gator diggers but left it at a beach and never saw it again :(... We aucklanders should get together and get a special permission for some of those "I wish I could hunt there!" spots.

Crisboy used one of them for a digging tool, he wore it down to under a quarter of its size before having to get a new one! I have a pic somewhere of it.
