That seems like a simple way to make a button.
I've got a few crucibles from the old battery sites, but I guess it's only GPX5000 owners who have spare gold lying around who can try these things out.
How did it work for you?

Haha SPARE gold.... Where do I go to find that? I made 2 small buttons years ago, 1 and 2 garms, just used an oxy acetylene torch and made a crucible thing from chalk.
And now....On sandy beaches and muddy soil, rings and coins await my coil!
