Excellent mate, so tell me, north island or south for your gold, or are you Hawkes Bay lot hiding something from us.
I know that one large piece of silverware is no longer in your area lol.
Sorry, a little excited about the shield being here(counties) first time ever, actually we are the only province never to loose the shield, a record we hope to extend. We are barricading the motorway south to stop those mooloos arriving.

my gold from down south. I started metal detecting to fill in time till my next trip. I've got more gold here now. Next trip is over Christmas and its all payed for from metal detecting. Ferry, gas and camp ground. haha all the best with the shield. Look after it for us ay.peace

Thats some great finds! Cool ring with the belt look, never seen such a thing!
And that coin that says"...of a pound", what is that? Cool to see another (half?) sovereign too!

its only a half but I have found 3 now .must be a full one around there some where.heres another pic of 1862 1863 halfs and 1873 gothic florin
