Hi Waka,

I went out there a couple of times last week. its like spring and winter have swapped over. the water is lots colder now and all that fresh snow is melting. the rain lately has kept the creek up also. it's got that green tinge to it and a fair flow has put a lot of the stream bed underwater. theres still a few bits of gravel sticking out tho.

You might be better off with a sluicebox at the oxen bridge beach on the shotover. at least there you always get flood gold. even if its up a bit theres always a heap of beach to dig. all fine stuff there.

good luck. i'd come out for a dig too but i'm tied up elsewhere for a while.

Where did you go? Might pop over to Qtown for a trip this week and have a scrounge around the shotover.
