Day 4 of detecting
playground with deep bark, getting the hang of it now.

Went back after the rain had eased with the 11"coil and plucked another $14.70.

Wow, great, I'd be happy with that haul. Nice one. Have you tried any older parks?

Very well done, you did better than me in the bark today, I found the big $2. Pretty sure someone bet me there oh well. Can't complain at the finds in other places.. You're digging all the interesting signals I'm guessing some silver rings aren't far off.

Thanks folks.

Watts, I've tried a reserve on my first day, had a suspicion it held some history, turns out there was an ammo dump there in WW2, so look out of my first grenade lol.

Latch, I'm saving for a pointer, have been digging and not finding stuff sometimes, but still get strong signals. I figure a pointer will keep my hole size to a minimum, instead of spreading and scanning.

Guardian, plenty of high signals, my penny was a high figure 89, and the goldies are at 75-78. Tried today but was a bit drizzly and had trouble locking, didn't find anything interesting, in bark again, does water affect signals, with the bark being wet.

Thanks for your replies.
