allright so im living in the timaruarea and iv finally saved up the money to buy my self a dredge. iv been spending alot of my weekends at danseys pass but now reading through the forums i can see i wont be aloud to do my fossiking down there any more. iv spent alot more on gold mining than ill ever get back.. but im hooked come saturday morning im packed up and off to danseys pass havent missed a week end down there in a long time. being as freezing cold as it is cant stop me doing what i do. just over a month ago the river itself was covered in ice now that was a hard day in paradise.
i know people and me myself dont like to give out gold fossiking areas but if anyone could contact me by private message on some where to try my luck would be most appreciated
thanks steve

Try contacting claim owners in your chosen area and see if they will let you on with some sort of split or lease arrangement but I think some will be reluctant to let you dredge.
