They're currently putting together some aerial imagery from Christchurch 14/10/1941. Should be a pretty good resource for Chch detectorists researching locations. Still a work-in-progress being added to, but here's what's available at present: http://gis.ecan.govt.nz/arcgis/rest/services/Imagery/SN152_Christchurch_19411014/MapServer?f=jsapi Pretty cool seeing ye olde aerial imagery like this!
