I just had to report this to you guys! I went out with my kids over school holidays to a very reliable spot that always yields me silver ;). And I found 2 men's 9k rings less than a meter apart! Then I found my oldest Sixpence a William IIII 1836 and then an 1896 3p!!! and if that wasn't enough I then found a 15k gold ladies ring with blue sapphires!!!

BEST HUNT EVER!!!!!!

i will upload some pics tomorrow! I love that spot... it gave me my first 1/2 crown and I always get at least one silver everytime I go and I have been there more than 7 times :D... it has also yielded a total of 4 gold rings... 1 18K, 2 9K and 1 15K.

What kind of area was it? A beach, park or other?

Very good question; after careful consideration I have deduced from this clue:
Quote:
I found 2 men's 9k rings less than a meter apart

that it is an area frequented by homosexual men.
and from this clue:
Quote:
a 15k gold ladies ring

that they swing both ways so to speak.
Also from this:
Quote:
15k ring is about 100 years old

that the sexual deviants are very old.
Therefore the secret location can only be - The Beehive
