Hey been getting fine gold off a beech and havnt got scales yet and I looked on net for how many teaspoons of fine gold in a ounce
Net said like 8tea spoons
And books I've ready said a tea spoon of gold per ounce

I'm sure one of use will hav a good idea?

That sight on the net that said 8 teaspoons for an ounce was it a a gold buyer web sight lol im pretty sure i was told 1 teaspoon was ruffly an ounce but there lots of different size spoons !

I looked again was actually 6 tea spoons 2 table spoons and very please to here it's roughly a tea spoon haha cheers

Fine gold would go roughly one rounded teaspoon to one ounce troy, or 31.1 grams. As said size of teaspoon would make a difference. Three $2 coins and a ten cent coin will weigh 32 grams. So if you can make some kind of balance scales you can get quite close. NUGGY
