Hi all, me names steve and i live in nsw oz.

Im an ex kiwi been living here for 31 years, i love gold prospecting and the bush.

Hi Flintlock, and thanks for the welcome, im moving house at the momment and will be posting alot more when im settled in the new house.

Also im a bit of a caveman when it comes to computers so it will take me a while to work out how to post pics etc, i,ll have a go at posting some pics in members finds..

Hi Steve,Welcome to this forum I've spent time in your region in the 80s Got some bloody good local knowlege frome a man from Hillend. His name was Ted woolard a local born and bred in hillend Teds son had a part share in the hawkins hill mine I got to do a lot dredging on the Turon down the bottom of the bridle track and downriver, some realy good hotspots where if you were lucky 3-5 onces a day A lot of small nugs and good flakes. Exactly where are you living thers some great country al the way to mudgee
