He does tend to bite at perceived slights or troll type provocation, we seem to get a few of that type here. Most of them I suspect are 12 years old and bored, too afraid to go play on the street cos the other boys don't like them, we already know why aye. I think you need to get your facts straight before making a comment like that, is it sad hes gone? I don't think so and I think a majority of users on here will agree with me, I will miss his posts and recolections of his gold claim years but I certainly wont miss his mindless ramblings and extremely long boring posts that waffle on about completely irrelevant stuff, I wont miss his snide comments towards others he got what he deserved, all he wants is attention hence his big pity party thread, he done this about a year ago when he wanted attention he threw a lil tantrum and threatened to leave the forum people had a big pity party for him he perked up and stayed, hopfuly this time hes gone and I never have to read another post about gustopo his wife, devil motherinlaw and fucking miners rights, he needs to get up with the times and realise this is 2013 and not 1970. so please refrain from making bullshit comments, and maybe those "people" who abused the poor victim lammerlaw will post stories, at least the top abuser not here anymore to criticise and hijack the thread.

However I'm a member of some other forums as well but this one even though we have the odd conflict is still the most homely so to speak. You make a post and it's not lost in the sea of others, it's a much closer knit community. I know whose posts interest me and I believe the input from such members to be very valuable and reliable. The forum has lost a bit of momentum which is to be expected - Season = Cabin Fever = Moody Behavior. Don't worry the tide has almost changed. Another factor may be that some of us have decided to keep good ideas/information closer to the chest rather than give the skimmers a heads up. We sometimes forget that what we write is on display for everyone. There is of course little sub groups, free radicals that are easy to ignore. It's pretty easy to see when you're being bated and decide if it's worth putting energy into. In my case I'd much rather put energy into positives. Remember folks it's a forum people have their own opinions and some will go down fighting with their last breathe to get their point across (remind me not to annoy GS too much) *8^) Alot can be learned from someone elses perspective, not to mention life would be pretty boring if we all got along all the time! Time to move on from this thread I think peoples, it's no good for anyone.

The email option allows someone to send you an email BUT they don't get to know your email address. But if they email you to wind you up, and you reply to that email, they've got your off-board contact details. If you're sick of someone's wind-up posts, you can click on the little down arrow beside the person's name on a thread, and select "ignore posts from this user".
