Hi Bob

Well done the F2 is awesome for the price and you are in a great location to be able to go for some not toooo far away hunts.
Seems there are a few members in Ashburton.

Hope you have already or have ordered a pin-pointer (preferably a Garrett or Minelab) will make the whole experience way less frustrating and far more fun!

Happy Hunting

If you put the effort in it wont take long to pay for itself. What type of digging tool have you got?

It's $90 here if you manage to pay on time, never an easy task. Funny though as that's exactly where I just got back from.
ST is right, hold on to the F2. It's great to have a backup, as I have a Garrett AT-Pro and an AT-Gold my wife often is my hunting partner, never thought in a million years that would happen! The good thing about buying quality tools is they will last for many years and are well worth it.
After I got my machine it wasn't long before I ordered a pro-pointer. The gear pays for itself pretty quick as well by cutting down recovery time you can dig more holes and find more goodies. Start under your clothes line if you have one good way of learning your new machine.

Where did you buy it, how much was the freight? Might be one of the cheaper ones having digital ID

You should do well in Ashburton.. not the competition there perhaps

Interested in how you find the machine to be
