Heya, here is my bullet point overview :
-> very important: I am hunting beaches and in the water

* Have CTX for just over 1 month
* Amount of Hours done on it is just over 50 hours
* Coil Used : 17 inch
* previous unit: Excalibur 2

What i like:
* depth is better
* i like that coil cable is inside retractable fiber glass shaft
* replaceable coil /headphones (screw on to the unit)

What i do not like:
*Weight and gravity center becomes unbalanced with 17 inch, VERY heavy and tiring after 3 hours
* Shit design of battery connection - O-ring becomes covered in sand, requires removal, cleaning before each charge
* Can not pick up chains, while excal can in pinpoint mode.
* Screen becomes useless in the water .

Ideal machine out of 2:
Excalibur body and functionality on CTX shaft with removable coil and headphones.

By the way, due to change in plans, Andrew got a spare CTX3030 for sale- BRAND NEW with 17 Inch + GreyHost underwater headphones , it was supposed to be for his brother, who is now unable to come back to NZ :-(
- It has all documentations and Guarantee

If Anyone else is interested- let me know

Standart Pack CTX 2500$ USD
17 Inch coil 375$ USD (usually they are 400$)
Grey Ghost headphones 175 $ USD (no way to get cheaper)
GST 15% You have to pay, when ordering from overseas
Shipping- no charge for you as it was part of the deal for 2 detectors
Total 3075 $ USD +15%= 3507.5 USD
At todays rate: 3,507.00 USD = 4,496.84 NZD

Again, this detector brand new, never been even assembled and has unfilled warranty.

To compare price in Brisbane shop (where i bought mine) :

http://www.minersden.com...-metal-detector-package/

2750 $ AUD
Coil is $440.00 AUD

That is 3,717.10 NZD total without headphones. so add another 200 and then 15% you get same price : 4485$

So Asking Price for the set (Standart pack + coil + greyghost )is 4450 $ thanks everyone
