Hi all. Just an indorsment for the Delta 4000. I've used a Delta 4000 for nearly a year now and find it to be an absolute silver magnet. Everything I have scored (all the good stuff anyway!) is on my "number8wire on the prowl" page in show, tell and identify.
I find it to be a bloody good little unit, very reliable, light weight and easy to use. Great beginner/intermediate machine. Happy to share any useful tips with the buyer if required.

Absolutely! Went out with it around South Hagley on Saturday and scored a couple of Victorian silvers and a nice old solid silver fob chain bar.....no chain or fob with it tho bugger...just the bar!
I think prob the maximum depth I have pulled silver out with this machine, would be around the 9 inches mark. Small silvers (3d and 6d) are pretty faint and scratchy at that depth but it gets em!
