Yielded

1x 1880 Half Crown...pretty worn but a very nice coin...7 inches deep

1x 1915 sixpence...little bit dented! 9 inches down!

1x 1908 three pence....stuck under a tree root! Very strong signal

Few Penny's and a 1876 half penny in good nick....

Finally a Junk ring that looked good 12:40 4 inches down...

Good going - It is always nice finding British silver - even now I still get a kick out of finding silvers...a lot of fun and a bit like fishing - half the fun is the expectation and the other half is a good find - That is where the similarity ends - In fishing the greastest enjoyment is seeing an oldies smile when you give them some freshly caught fish but in metal detecting the remainder of the fun is hoarding it away like Shylock and Scrooge and watching the treasure pile grow!

Well done Dmnz.
1800's silver is one of my favourite finds.
Perhaps you have found a spot that is worth several visits.

I do not like dirt digging :-) too much afford for couple of silvers :-(
